Founded in 1982 by entrepreneur Jack Hodges, Northeast Color began as “the Photo Company,” a little studio offering both commercial and consumer photography services in southern New Hampshire.
Armed with a degree from the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology and an extensive work history with Xerox, Jack’s technical knowledge and sales savvy led him to push the boundaries of a typical photo studio, constantly experimenting with new products, processes, and services.
Over time (and with much trial and error), Jack and his wife and business partner Carol grew the fledgling studio into a bustling small business that ultimately refocused its capabilities on providing large format oriented photographic services to other businesses and franchises.
This decisive shift away from the consumer market allowed Northeast Color to expand and scale its fabrication and distribution capabilities to meet the unique needs of its national clients, while simultaneously developing a crack team of in-house designers, photographers, and production managers.
Soon Northeast Color was producing a truly diverse array of products and services—from custom wall coverings, wood grain ceiling tiles, and digital signage to strategized brand development, E-Commerce platforming, and logistics-driven fulfillment and shipping services.
Today Northeast Color strives to develop new products and services to meet the current and future needs of our clients. Our design teams and fabrication facilities provide custom solutions that create immersive brand experiences for both established and emerging businesses across the nation.
