Chris Sloane | IT Manager

As an IT manager in a franchise sign supplier company, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented individuals in the industry. My experiences have been both challenging and rewarding, and have taught me a great deal about what it takes to succeed in the IT world.

One of the most important things I have learned is that communication is key. In my role, I work closely with all departments within the company, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance. It is critical that I am able to effectively communicate with each of these departments in order to ensure that our technology solutions are meeting their needs and driving success for the business.

Another key lesson I have learned is that technology is constantly evolving, and it is critical that we stay ahead of the curve. As an IT manager, I am responsible for identifying new technologies and solutions that can help us stay competitive and meet the needs of our customers. This requires a deep understanding of the industry, as well as a willingness to continually learn and adapt.

Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of my job is the opportunity to work with a team of talented and passionate individuals. I am constantly impressed by the dedication and creativity of our developers, analysts, and support staff, and it is truly a pleasure to work alongside them.

Of course, there are also challenges that come with being an IT manager. One of the biggest challenges is balancing the needs of the business with the realities of the IT budget. It can be difficult to prioritize investments in new technology while also ensuring that we are operating within our means.

Overall, my experiences as an IT manager in a franchise sign supplier company have been incredibly rewarding. I have learned a great deal about the industry, about effective communication and collaboration, and about what it takes to succeed in a fast-paced, constantly evolving field. I look forward to continuing to grow and develop in this role, and to helping our company achieve even greater success in the years ahead.
